A family session is all about connection. Those genuine candid smiles and laughs. Not your typical stand beside each other stiff and smile, those pictures show what a person look like. My goal is to create images that make you feel! That when you look at them years down the road you smile because you are taken back to that moment when your children were just little, and you remember the sound of their laugh or the way they looked at you. A mix of candid and posed that show connection!
The Family Mini Session (20 min) is great for those with younger ones who may not be up for a longer session, or those only wanting a few images (15+ images)
The Family Full Session (45-60 min) is ideal as it gives a longer time for children to warm up if they may be shy/uncertain, as well as provides for a greater diversity in background settings on location, and for creating beautiful albums (40+ images)

I love shooting sessions in the golden hour, that sweet spot before sunset when the light is soft and glowing, even on a cloudy evening. Whether you choose ocean and beach, field, forest or mountain I have locations to suggest that the sunset works beautifully for. I’m happy to discuss wardrobe via an email or phone consult to help bring your vision to life, or to best compliment your family’s lifestyle.
When we meet for the session, we will take a short walk to the beginning location, and this is when I love to start getting to know your family! Making a connection with children right from the start helps them to warm up for when the camera comes out. I know it can be intimidating having your photo taken, so we will make the session fun and more about interacting with one another to create ideal situations for candid photos.
After our session, you will receive your gallery in 2-3 weeks. This timeline allows me to edit to my style and ensure that each image is ready to be shared, printed and loved.

If you think 1 hour is too long for your kiddos, then this might be perfect for you! In 30 minutes we can usually get a couple of good ones for your family photo plus some fun candid shots! I'll help you all pose for the traditional portrait, and once that's over with, you can just enjoy the time with your family as I shoot from a distance.

After booking, you'll get an email to confirm date and time, and you can make your payment online to reserve your booking.
On the day of the shoot, I'll keep it safe for everyone and maintain a safe distance using zoom lenses! I'll suggest things to do, rather than tell you exactly how to sit. If your kids are shy, I'll give them plenty of extra space. Once everyone is warmed up, we can go for the one "must have" posed family photo - usually I can get this done in a matter of a few minutes, since we'll already be in the perfect location, facing the light, camera settings prepared.. etc. You'll be surprised how quickly and painlessly the "traditional" shot can be done and we can go back to fun candid shots.
My family mini is perfect for immediate families (parents and kids) because it's short enough that the kids stay engaged and don't get too tired. I have kids of my own so I'm very good and cracking jokes and making the experience fun.

Each Family Session will begin before the day of the shoot by having a phone, email or text consultation. I will get to know you and your family - and listen to your vision of what you imagine for your perfect family photos. I will also answer any questions you may have about your shoot!
On the day of your shoot our I will spend roughly an hour with you. I usually start by taking time getting to know each member of your family and making everyone comfortable in front of the camera. Next, I get your family to stand or sit together and just chat while I get some candid shots. I have a couple kids of my own so I have some jokes to make your kids laugh! With kids I love to do shots of your family playing together and walking and holding hands. The key is to make the shoot so much fun that everyone forgets about being in front of the camera.
After your shoot, final edited photos will be delivered via online gallery within 10 business days. The photos can be downloaded in original, high res (for printing) and web size. Expedited service is available.

Family is important to me -- it is so essential to spend time with our loved ones. The power of a family photo can transcend time, preserving the warmth of good memories. Every moment is precious, which is why I love to capture those moments you and your family will cherish for years. If you're looking for a full-package family shoot at the best value, this package is the one for you.
This package includes:
- 15 high-resolution digitally retouched photographs (PhotoShop retouching)
- 25 additional high-resolution digitally edited photographs (LightRoom corrections)
My style is about authenticity: vivid colours, bright tones. I'm there to capture the moments as they are -- not transform them into something entirely different. After you book me, I'll create a mood board to shape the direction of the family shoot (location, poses, clothing, matching colours, etc.). I'll offer advice on the best locations, but will always do my best to accommodate if you have your own location ideas. I'll get in touch via email. If anything needs to be discussed in greater detail, we'll schedule a phone call or a Skype/Zoom call.
On the day of the family shoot, we'll meet at the agreed location for the photoshoot. I always arrive early. In a 1.5-hour family shoot, it's best to keep locations to a single place -- or two, if it's within walking distance.
After the family shoot, I'll send you a gallery within three days for you to choose your favourite photos. Then, I'll edit and retouch those photos and send the final ones to you via gallery link within a week.
I absolutely love my job, and meeting so many amazing families. I have so much fun, joking with the little ones for the biggest smiles. I ensure all posing, and prompts are comfortable for each family member. My goal is have everyone leaving the session with a smile, eager to see their photos.

- I send an updated link with selected photos, and you have both the high-resolution & web-size version for saving and printing.
You can also order high quality prints right through the link I provide!
Motherhood is such a life-changing experience, even before the baby is born. It’s so special to have photos of your maternity journey to look back on and cherish --which is what I am here to do! I am here to capture those sweet moments of you and your baby-to-be.
These sessions are perfect for a mother-to-be at any stage in your pregnancy. You can choose from three different locations: Gonzales Beach, Beacon Hill Park, or Mystic Vale for your one hour session, and will receive 40-60 edited digital photos at least two weeks after.
If this isn’t your first child, feel free to bring your other kiddos. The more the merrier. It’s time to capture the next chapter of all your lives and celebrate the bun in the oven!
When you book me, we will schedule a call to go over your session. If you have any questions or specific poses you want to do, this is the perfect time to ask! This session is personal to you, so I am happy to work with what you want. After we have settled on all the details, I will send you a booking invoice confirming your session and all the details.
If you could arrive five to 10 minutes before the shoot time, that would be great! It will ensure you aren’t late and allows us to confirm the small details of the session in person --it’s also a great way for us to get to know each other more so you feel even more comfortable with me.

My photography approach is warm and easygoing. I want you to feel totally, completely at ease. We’ll share a bunch of laughs and get to know each other over the course of the hour. You can pick an outdoor location of your choice (or, if you’re short on ideas, I can suggest some time-tested favourites). We’ll meet up, and you can relax with your loved ones while I capture you doing what you do best: enjoying each other’s company.
Golden hour is the most magical time to shoot. But if your schedule’s set differently, no problem: I can capture you beautifully in just about any kind of lighting.
If you book a family session, I’ll get in touch over email to discuss locations. We’ll find the best setting to match your vision and suit the time of day. On the day of the shoot, I’ll be there 15 minutes early. (I like to pre-scout locations.) We’ll start the session by getting to know each other, so that within the first five minutes, everyone’s relaxed and at their most comfortable.
I’m a patient, people-focused photographer. I won’t pose you into a pretzel. But I can coach you on where to stand and will take the time to get your little ones comfortable.
After the session’s over, I’ll handpick and edit the best photos from the day. You’ll receive a link to your gallery within 14 days.
